ABOUT:

Hey, my name is Jaisiah Vanegas, and I am a Senior Graphic Design major at The College of New Jersey. My interest in art began when I was a child in an art class where a teacher encouraged me to pursue creativity more seriously. That experience inspired me to join a design program in high school to continue developing my skills. During my time at The College of New Jersey, I fell in love with graphic design and the way it shapes how we see and understand the world. I am inspired by how design can communicate ideas, tell stories, and create meaningful visual experiences.

SHOWCASE PROJECT :

What I'll be showcasing is a capstone project I work on called Harvest Haven. Harvest Haven is a community gardening center designed to support older adults by creating a welcoming space where they can socialize, stay active, and engage with their local community. Harvest Haven's main mission is to encourage meaningful connections, reduce loneliness, and promote mental and physical well-being.
